Oat bran porridge

Porridge di crusca d’avena


For 4 people
Blend 94 g of oat bran for one minute, then transfer it to a saucepan and add 2 cups of water and 2 cups of milk or a vegetable drink of your choice and a pinch of salt. Cook over medium heat, stirring constantly.
Once it comes to the boil, lower the heat and simmer for 3-4 minutes, stirring constantly, until the porridge has thickened.
Pour into bowls and sweeten as desired. You can add fresh fruit, dried fruit, chocolate and other ingredients according to your taste.
If you have any porridge left over, you can store it in the fridge for two or three days.
